Relaxation in terms, of making money from YouTube just got easier
Video-sharing site YouTube has relaxed its terms, making it easier for users to monetize.
According to the company, those who want to be a part of YPP have to fulfill conditions like 500 subscribers, posting 3 public videos in the last 90 days, and 3 thousand hours of views of long videos or 3 million views of shorts in a year.
Eligible users will be able to apply to be a part of the YPP program, after which they will be able to access various revenue streams such as SuperThanks, SuperChat, SuperStickers, and Channel Membership. Similarly, users will also be able to promote their products on YouTube Shopping.
YouTube initially relaxed VPP terms for users in the US, UK, Canada, Taiwan, and South Korea. But the company says that very soon people from other countries will also be made a part of this program. youtube channel monetization policy 2023
